I'm interested in majoring in an Agricultural or Agribusiness field; I'm undecided about how I would like to specialize my degree, at this point.
My family owns a small farming business, and I have worked on it for as long as I've been able to help out. I have a strong work ethic, and have always been very driven to be part of the agricultural industry.
I have been raised by parents and extended family with Midwestern family values; we work hard, and are proud of what time invested in our work yields.
We moved to our current home in 2015. Prior to that, my school offered baseball, football, and basketball. I played all three sports through middle school. When I started school in Oregon, I was introduced to lacrosse. Here, it's something that kids play during recess and after school, in addition to club; it's something that becomes second nature, and it feels strange to not carry a stick with you every morning on your way to school.
I missed registration for my school lacrosse team my first year playing , and had to join the neighboring town team (Stoughton Vikings) for my first season of play. It actually ended up a good experience, because I played with some of the kids that would be on my club team, and made some good friends.
I quickly fell in love with the sport, and joined our club team as soon as there was an opportunity. I am someone who will go the extra mile for what I love, and am passionate about. Lacrosse is my passion.
