I have been rowing at a varsity level since my freshman year, and I have been highly competitive in Men's Single Scull events since then. I also row a double, and I am able to sweep starboard (I rowed 7-seat in a freshman eight for my first year). I take the highest honors and AP classes that my school offers, but it doesn't hinder my ability to attend practices as I still attend all afternoon, morning, and weekend workouts. Outside of my academics, I am currently pursuing my pilot's license and my Eagle scout, which could both bring unique skills to the team. I have lead developmental practices for our team members to bring the freshman and varsity athletes into a competitive mindset, and time after time, those have been the guys who medal and win. I will bring an amazing oarsman and leader to your team, and it is has always been my goal to make a team more successful than it was when I got there. When I started rowing, I had never done any sport before, but the team made me realize that I was not the failure of an athlete I always thought I was. I want to bring the hope and success that my team gave me to your team to compete at the top level.
