2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a very driven athlete, when I can see something within my limits I do everything I can to achieve my goals. I believe in hard work and respect for myself and team mates. I am very open to criticism and pride myself on being coachable. I love rowing because of the comradery and intensity, but racing is my favorite part. It's amazing to be a big contributor to the boat when my team needs it.
I believe my work ethic and intensity puts me in a different pool compared to most rowers. My goal is to continue rowing at the collegiate level as part of a team that will embrace these qualities, challenge and grow with me academically athletically and personally.
I spend my free time surfing, hiking and backpacking. I would prefer to pursue a college where I have access to the outdoors and nature and where I can make a big team contribution. I want to keep improving and become the best rower I possibly can.
