Hello,

Rowing has been a crucial part of my life for the past two and a half years. If you had told my younger self that I would become a rower, I probably would have asked, “What’s rowing?” I never imagined that my high school years would be spent at a place we call the boathouse, yet I’ve dedicated nearly three and a half hours almost every day to this sport.

This time has not been lost. Rowing has allowed me to build incredible friendships with my teammates and provided a path for me to grow—both mentally and physically—beyond what I ever thought possible.

That being said, I would love to continue this sport and continue forging strong relationships as I head off to college.

A boat is only as strong as the crew that rows it. Wherever I go, I want to make the team stronger than when I arrived.
