My name is Eric Hoff. I started rowing as a freshman at Marin Rowing Association and quickly enjoyed the competitive camaraderie that rowing introduced. Because of this competitive environment I was introduced to, I'm continually trying to be the most efficient oarsman that I can be every practice. I always know that I can accomplish whatever I put my mind to, and this has helped improve my work ethic and personal rowing goals. Outside of rowing, I enjoy learning, I'm a motivated student, and can balance all aspects of life. I'm an ambitious athlete and my goal is to row competitively in college. I know that each day is a new day to get a little bit better and this mentality is what I implement in my daily life.
During my novice year, in 2023, I was given the Lou Lindsey award given to me by my coach, which is an award that highlights dedication and excellence.
