My name is Jason Alickolli. I am 16 years old currently rowing for Sarasota Crew during my junior year of high school. I started to row in my freshmen year of high school after swimming for all the years prior. This sport brought me up to become the best version of my self both mentally an physically, and I plan to continue improving throughout the rest of my years rowing. I excel in a competitive environment, where I have strong teammates pushing me past my limits. Rowing has taught me to face a challenge head on, and to never give up. I have learned to become efficient with whatever task I have at hand.
Rowing has become a important part of my life, and I also take academics very seriously. I have maintained consistency with my academics throughout my years of education. At Pine View School, I currently have a 4.0 cumulative unweighted GPA and a 5.0 cumulative weighted GPA, from all of the rigorous AP classes I am taking. I plan to pursue a career of engineering in college. My ultimate goal is to be able to study the career I am passionate about while doing the sport I love. No matter who I row for, I will always give my all and bring my teammates up with me.
