Cooper Wilding '26 Recruiting Profile

Rowing is one of the most important parts of my life. I try my hardest every day no matter the lineup. Since I joined rowing, my goal has been to be the best rower I can be in the best boat possible. I have been rowing for two years and my ideal goal for my erg PR is 6:20 for a 2k. Through hard work and commitment to the sport, this is possible for me. I joined rowing because of a summer camp I did at the club I row at now and since then I have become a counselor at that same camp. Now the kids I recruited look up to me since I know them the best. At my club, I strive to become a captain eventually and am willing to work as hard as I need to so I can make that goal possible. I am a rising junior at Brownsburg High School in Indiana and I finished my sophomore year with a 4.2 GPA, this upcoming year I am taking 2 AP classes and 1 dual Credit class and I am ready to try my hardest to succeed at the level I strive to be at.
