Personal Statement
- I attend an international IB school (International school of Hamburg) I do the diploma program which is very demanding and I am able to do this while balancing it with 8-9 training sessions a week which speaks for my time management. This tells me that I will be able to handle being a student athlete at the next level.
- I have been rowing since I was 11 which is going on 6years now which means that I have a lot of experience for my age and this translates to my technique and general experience within the sport.
- I have been very successful so far in my career winning a silver medal in the u17 lightweight quad in the 2021 German National championships in Essen and winning the Gold medal at the 2022 German National Championships in Köln in the u17 lightweight double. I also finished 4th in the A final in the lightweight quad during the same regatta. During the 2022 Season I went unbeaten in the Lightweight Double and Won every single race I competed in.
- My goals for collegiate rowing are to compete in division 1 at a high level at a rowing program while balancing this out with school and earning a degree in the field of business.
