Personal Statement
I currently row at Boulogne 92 aviron which is the 3rd best club in France at the moment and was the first one in 2022 and 2023. I discovered rowing when I was 13 years old in 2020, I fell in love instantly witht this sport which led me to fit in the 2023 U17 national team and to become 2024 vice national champion in the men's four, I can row on both sides but I have a lot more experience on bow side than on stroke side, I'm as good at sculling as I am at sweeping, I trained a lot of times in the single (at least 2-3 times a week) and I like the quadruple sculls very much even if my favorite boats are the all the sweep boats with the eight on top !
I love the eight because it truly correspond to my values and because I believe that men or humans in general are stronger together than alone.
In parallel of my rowing path studying is very important to me, this is why I moved to an high school that provides me a training-adapted timetable to allow me to focus both on studies and on rowing.I have really good grades but I don't know their value in the american college system.I currently study economics and geopolitics in high school and I'd love to study finance or business law in the future.
