Personal Statement
My dream is to get into a good university and work hard to complete a degree in mechanical engineering. I would also like to continue rowing at a competitive level at university and beyond.
I’m currently in grade 11 and I have made it into the First rowing team at my high school. As the smallest member of the team I‘m not afraid to push above my weight and have the best power to weight ratio in the team. I’m passionate about rowing and always give and do more than what is expected of me on the water and off and in the classroom as well. Being part of rowing has allowed me to form bonds and a brotherhood with my fellow team mates for years to come.
Given, the demands of rowing I still work hard to improve on and maintain the best grades that I can.
In everything I do, I try my best to live by my school’s moto of Honour God, Honour Others and Honour Self.
