I have been rowing at TSS with 2025 being my last year for the past 5 years, and I'm looking to move up into college to row either Div 2, Div 1 or UK Rowing. I can row both port and starboard, as well as scull.
As one of the top boys in the programme, I try to set the standard for my year as well as be enthusiastic towards others and their goals by encouraging them to try their hardest in their trials and in training during the pieces. I am very coachable in and out of the boat, and I try anything to make the boat reach it's top speed and win races not by small margins but by boat lengths. I can guarantee that out of any rower or athlete, you'll not find a harder-working and more determined person than me.
Within the classroom, I do my best to study hard to achieve a higher GPA and become a full-time vet or to study biomedicine. In my free time, I usually go down to the younger crews training to help out and encourage help with their technique so that when I leave TSS, the programme will be strong to win races and Head of the River.
I'd love to attend colleges and universities where I can pursue my study of biology and push myself much harder in the rowing boat to hopefully one day compete at the World Championships and/or the Olympics. But I am open to all options, either mainly pursuing medicine and biomedicine or going all in within the rowing boat.
