Personal Statement
My name is Petar Jukić, and I come from Croatia. I would like to row in the USA because I believe I will get a chance in better education, and also because I believe that living in another country and experiencing other cultures will benefit me in my later professional life.
I am 6'4", and around 190 lbs. I pulled a 6:33 on my last 2k. I would, however, say that I'm better on the water than on the erg, as I regularly win medals at national and regional competitions. I'm also a candidate for the Croatian national U19 team in 2024, and I will do my best to achieve my goal, which is to compete at the World Championships.
I'm also very hardworking and motivated, which helps me both in rowing and in the classroom.
