I am excited to row in college and pursue an education in Computer Science. Even though it’s such a demanding sport with tough competition, I truly enjoy it and always look forward to the next time I row on the water. I have experience with both sculling and sweeping , so unlike a lot of people I am able to do well in both environments. I am Captain of my team this year. As a senior at Mayo Highschool, I love recruiting young rowers, fundraising to support those who need sponsoring and lead by setting a good example. I was honored to be allowed to compete in Nationals this summer, and finished 14th in the Nation for U19 singles. I really enjoyed the experience.
