- Our coach has been making us do 10 minutes "Row as Far as You Can" pieces (4' @ 22spm, 3' @24spm, 2' @ 26spm, and 1' @ 28spm). I have improved steadily and just last Wednesday, 1/10/18, I rowed an average split of 1:46.4 (an improvement of a full 2 seconds after my last PR). I'm continuing to improve every day and by the end of Jan 2018, we will be doing lots of testing (2k, 6k, and more). On Jan 17, 2018, I achieved another PR as I improved my split time down to 1:46.0; thus, a .4 second improvement. Update2: Jan 30th, 2018. Improved by 0.1 s -> average split of 1:45.9.
