I am dedicated to progressing my rowing. I have not missed a practice in many months and am always on time or early. I often volunteer with Rocklands adaptive rowing program. I am consistently the fastest on our lake and only lose to boys quads if there is one. I never lose to other singles and outpace our u/19 varsity girls doubles and quads easily. I am small compared to other rowers but my potential is just as high. This is best demonstrated by my performance at 2022 Youth Nationals. Since it was my first year of u/19, I had a major disadvantage. Coming out of the TT, I was 28th, the last of the qualifiers. Two days later, during the D-Final, I overtook 4 rowers in the final 600 to finish 4th in my final and 24th overall. I won gold in a varsity double at Overpeck Summer Sprints and at Head of the Passaic. We then came 2nd in Varsity Doubles at Head of the Schyulkill. I am now in winter training until march. I plan to race a pair and double next spring with my double partner from this year.
