2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I started rowing the summer before 9th grade, my first year was primarily in a scull. It was during the pandemic and the Cleveland Foundry was rowing singles. A year later, I was in larger boats working with teammates. Started to compete in 10th grade and loved everything about the sport. Going to nationals in June 2022 really open my eyes to the different levels of completion. I have always been a hard worker and coachable. I enjoy the grind of being on a competitive team, setting goals and seeing them through. I love to compete, to work hard with my teammates and go fast.
