I love to be challenged. When the pandemic hit, I became a novice rower and my life has never been the same. I'm pretty competitive with both the people around me and myself (in a friendly manner) and coaches have expressed gratitude about how flexible I am in the boat. I will confidently row in any seat without losing technique. I aspire always to improve myself both physically and academically.
Outside of rowing, I currently am playing 4 different instruments in various ensembles, I’m a programmer for the robotics team, I’ve been contracted (not a lot of hours) as a programmer, and I’ve obtained some pretty significant awards in computer networking (see academic awards). Despite an incredibly busy schedule, I manage to make it all work pretty well.
That being said, I would love to row at the highest level, and I will do whatever is necessary to go fast.
