Personal Statement

I'm currently preparing for the fall season after a strong spring and summer that included participating in the Spring Nationals. Recently I have been named to my club teams leadership council. I've had the unique opportunity to be both a coxswain and rower (stroke and bow). I would like to find a college that best fits my academic needs, while hoping to row on their men's collegiate team. My freshman and sophomore high school experience has included a graphic design class and drone club, which both interest me. I am also interested in aviation, engineering, architecture, and visual communication design. Additionally, I have played both JV and Varsity Golf for DeSales High School and competed individually in many US Kids, and Golfweek Junior Tour events.

Summer. Sweep and scull boats, 2x, 4x, 4+, 8+. High Performance training 2x day Monday-Friday, and Saturday mornings in preparation of Summer Nationals.
2022 Westerville Crew (Novice)
Spring. Novice/U16. Sweep and scull in 2x, 4x, 4+, 8+. Bow and coxswain positions. U16 8+ qualified for Spring Nationals with a 7:50.9 time, with a boat consisting of (4) 14yo and (4) 15yo rowers.
2022 Westerville Crew (Novice)
Fall. Called in to cox a race at home regatta. Did not fully participate in fall season due to the high demand of the high school golf team.

Winter. Erg room training and weightlifting 6x week.

Summer. Sculling only in 2x, 4x, and 8x+. Practiced 4x week.
