After picking up rowing in early 2023, I have really learned to enjoy it, from the team bonding aspect to the new places I get to see traveling with my team. I would also like to extend my rowing career to the collegiate level. I have learned to focus on technique this year while competing in a single. Drawing on my experience as a competitive swimmer has helped me to excel and have experience in a high pressure environments. The hardships that I’ve faced in the boat and on the erg have helped me become a resilient and adaptable person. I am looking forward to next year's season, continuing my development and setting goals. I am an overall good student keeping a 3.5+ GPA consistently, taking multiple honors classes and enrolled in AP courses for the 2024-2025 junior year.
