My name is Cooper Ballard, and I am 20 years old from Cache County, Utah. I am excited to be starting my freshman year in college, where I will be studying Human Resources Management. I hope one day to make a significant impact by helping others.
Academically, I am passionate about Human Resources because it allows me to support and develop people within large organizations. I aspire to use my skills to create positive work environments and contribute to the success of well-known businesses. After graduation, I hope to work as an HR professional for a leading company like Delta or Coca-Cola.
Athletically, rowing has been a central part of my life. I am drawn to the sport because of the team unity it fosters and the thrill of competition. My goals in collegiate rowing are to support my team, continually improve my skills, and achieve new personal and team milestones. I am committed to pushing myself to be my best and helping my team succeed.
Character-wise, I am known for my determination, leadership, and strong work ethic. These traits have been crucial in both my academic and athletic pursuits. For example, I have consistently balanced rigorous coursework with demanding training schedules, demonstrating my ability to manage time and maintain focus.
In terms of athletics, my passion for rowing and being part of a crew is unwavering. I thrive on the camaraderie and the collective effort required in rowing. My dedication to the sport is evident in my willingness to go the extra mile, whether it's through additional training or supporting my teammates.
Academically, I maintain a strong academic record and am committed to excelling in my studies while also dedicating myself to rowing. I believe that my ability to balance these commitments makes me a well-rounded candidate who can contribute positively to both the academic and athletic communities.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my unique combination of academic ambition, athletic passion, and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the business world. Additionally, my background and experiences have taught me the importance of perseverance and resilience, qualities that I bring to every aspect of my life.
I am genuinely excited about the possibility of joining a rowing team and am confident that I can make a meaningful contribution. Thank you for considering my application.
