Cody Courtney '26 Recruiting Profile

     I have been rowing with a passion since I was 14 years old, and in the time I have been a part of my rowing team, I have learned and progressed so much. Being involved in such a heavily teamwork oriented sport has really taught me how to work with other people, and use my skills to benefit the boat as a whole. One of my goals in rowing is to row competitively in college. I understand this goal requires a tremendous amount of hard work, and I'm willing to give it. I understand that being a student-athlete means you are a student first. I focus heavily on academics, making sure I hold an A grade in every class. Rowing follows academics very closely, and I am intensely focused at every practice, trying to better myself, and do anything I can to help my teammate in front of, or behind me.
