Avery Langford '25 Recruiting Profile

     *****Update 9/30/24***** I am now training full time with Birmingham Legion on an Academy contract as well as my ECNL club. 

This recruiting experience has been an amazing process. I am still open to all schools, D1/D2/JUCO. Due to my training schedule and ECNL schedule, 2024 ID clinics will be nearly impossible for me to attend, unfortunately.  Please contact me if you have any film requests, questions, etc. 

At this point, I have two aspirations- I want to go as far as I can with my soccer career, and I want to get an education and become an English teacher and soccer coach at some point in the hopefully distant future.  I am excited for my soccer career, wherever that takes me. I thought I would gain clarity about where I would want to go to school, but as of October '24, I am still open to play anywhere in the world. I have met some wonderful, fascinating coaches and players throughout this journey. Who knew stopping a ball from going in a goal could expand someone's horizons like this?
