Landon Willingham '28 Recruiting Profile

I am Landon Willingham, a 5'3" student at Southside High School in Southside, Alabama, set to graduate in 2028. I am on the lookout for colleges that strike a balance between strong academics and a vibrant athletic scene.

I am the starting winger for the Alabama Rush 2010 Classic boys team with Coach Wes Martin.  In addition to this team, I am also a starter for the Alabama Rush 2009 Classic boys team with Coach Wes Martin.  Besides my main role, I have also played as a midfielder and forward. Simultaneously, I hold the position of starting winger for the
Southside High School Freshman team. 

My soccer journey started only five years ago, but my love for the game has grown since I have accrued extensive experience and skills on the field with both my club teams and my school teams.

I am an ambitious, hard-working student, as demonstrated by my continued dedication to both soccer and academics. My commitment extends beyond the classroom to both academics and soccer.

My ultimate goal is to play soccer professionally; thus, I am actively seeking a college environment that nurtures my soccer skills and supports my academic ambitions.  In addition to my soccer goals, I plan to enter college as a Pre-Med major with the hopes of becoming a Sports Physician for a professional sports team.  

I am seeking a school that resonates with my core values, encourages personal growth, and provides the platform to achieve my dreams. I hope my dedication and academic achievements make me an asset to a soccer program.
