My name is Bennett De Spong class of 2026. I have always had a passion for sports ever since I can remember. Soccer stuck with me when I was 5 or 6 years old and has still stuck with me since. My passion for soccer is why I devote almost all of my time to soccer. This is my 10th year playing soccer and I believe my character and skill are what stand me out from others. I have always had a strong work ethic in everything I do. On and off the field people have always told me how much of a leader I am. I would agree that I am a leader in everything I do. Losing is never an option for me so I will push my teammates, my peers, and myself to do whatever is necessary to win. Also, I am a very social person so I am not afraid to speak out on a subject or let someone know something is not right. My skill also helps me stand out from others. I would say I am a very athletic kid, and 9 years of soccer has set my skill level very high. I always want to do activities to improve my skills such as extra practice, running, and lifting in the gym. I do all of this hard work because in 4 years I want to play soccer in college at a D1 level and after potentially move on to pro soccer. I would really love the opportunity to play at a college for soccer and keep advancing my academics.
