Eli Fritz '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Eli Fritz,

I am a centerback that plays for  Barca Residency Academy in Arizona, for the EA team. I attend ASU Prep Academy   (Graduation 2023). I plan on attending a D1 or D2 college to study engineering, business, or construction management. I would ideally like to stay on the West coast. I am lively and upbeat so a bigger campus is preferable. I am very happy to step into new opportunities and make friends while doing so, which is why soccer has been a passion of mine. I am not shy to lead and to lead by example. My strengths are my leadership skills, physical endurance, and vocal communication (I’m loud my teammates will hear me). I make sure all my teammates are in position and performing their duties to the best of their ability. Athletically I am dominant defensively; when I challenge someone for the ball I win. When building out the back possession of the ball and breaking the first line of defense is on the forefront of my mind. Being willing to adapt to what the team needs to do, my part is a forethought. I take my initiative on the field as seriously as I do off the field. Currently, I am in all AP, IB, and Honors classes. Additionally, I am in Leadership at my high school, I organize events and serve my community.
