I play with the Tucson Soccer Academy in Tucson, Arizona. I've been playing soccer for nine years and have really gotten interested in the competitiveness nearly two years ago and since then it has been my dream to play Major League Soccer and for the US Men's National Team. I realize an essential step to getting to these goals is to go to a college or university. Soccer and a super competitive sport and I'm willing to do whatever it takes from going to ID camps to visiting colleges to talking with coaches. I believe I am a good candidate for making a college team because I'm head strong which allows me to stay motivated and committed to the game for the whole game. I truly believe soccer is a mental game as much as it is a physical game and its important to keep my head in the game. I'm also willing to train day and night to improve my skills and abilities to keep a spot on the team. What keeps me motivated is the idea that when I'm not training, someone else is getting better than I am. I am a fairly mellow person in general but get fired up when I need to be and I'm always there to back up teammates and friends when they need me. On the field, I am fast and have swell passing and shooting skills and I think my positioning on the field when attacking and defending is above average. My grades are definitely exceeding but not as high as I'd like them. People always say "oh I have a C. at least I'm passing." My school has an atmosphere of "Oh shoot I have an A-, thats not good enough." Yes its rough, but Id say it always pushes me to do my best if I know I have a lower GPA than most of my friends.
