Personal Statement:
Hi, my name is Nicolas Valenzuela, I just turned 18 years old and play attacking midfielder/forward for USL1 FC Tucson Youth Pro Academy, FC Tucson 04/05 Boys ECNL and Salpointe Catholic High School. I have been playing organized soccer since I was 4 years old and have over 14 years of soccer playing experience. Ever since I can remember, soccer has been a huge part of my life and it has taught me the value of teamwork, friendship and determination to push myself to the highest levels on the field and in the classroom while consonantly striving to do right for the team, school and community. Playing soccer fulfills me and I can't imagine not playing after I graduate from high school because soccer and academics have been such an essential part of my life. With this in mind, it is my goal and aspiration to continue my soccer career in a college/university program that strives to grow by valuing strong academics, diversity and teamwork. From this foundation, I will work hard and do my best to contribute positively and honorably to any soccer program that will allow me the opportunity.
Thank you for your consideration!
Nicolas Valenzuela
