I am looking to join a competitive soccer program at an outstanding academic school. I will be a great student athlete and a respected part of my college team and community. I have good size and am fast, have a strong first touch, and the quickness/ability to win the ball. While my size and speed give me an advantage from a pure athletic perspective, I think my greatest strength is my vision of the field and my ability to make smart choices with my defensive positioning and my offensive passing. I am flexible when it comes to the position I play and spent several years as my club team’s forward because of my speed, but as I grew moved to the back line as both a center and outside back. I am a great teammate and am mentally strong and stay focused on the larger goal of winning the game. My coaches and opposing teams would describe as aggressive in my play but that I am a good sport and do not engage in angry outbursts.
I am a leader on and off the field. I am very supportive of my teammates and am a great communicator both in games and when training. Off the field, I am considered a leader in my school and community and hold several leadership positions including having been elected as Student Body President for my senior year, was a class representative to the Student Council for my class of 550 people in grades 9-11. This year I was one of 25 juniors selected by the City of Fayetteville to be part of their Student Leadership program.
