Ethan Dixson '25 Recruiting Profile

            My name is Ethan Dixson. I am currently in my  senior year, attending Rome City Prep Academy ( Rome, Italy). I have played soccer for about fourteen years. My best academic abilities lie in English and History, and I  have a broad scope of possible majors I may like to study; Graphic Design, Nursing, Veterinary Science, Journalism, Film and Video, or Athletic Science.

During my Freshman year, I was awarded Honorable Mention All-State for the Varsity Boys Soccer Team. In my sophomore year, I attended the Barcelona Soccer Experience in Barcelona, Spain and was trained by FCB’s UEFA licensed coaches. Scoring two goals against the local clubs,  I was able to perform well overseas; and I was happy with my overall performance, as well as the technical and tactical takeaway from Barcelona’s more rough, physical  and fast-paced game play. More recently, I attended Rome City's Serie A Elite ID Camp that led to my attending of Rome City Prep Academy.

 I want to play at the highest level possible, and achieve my goals through athletics and academics. I want to experience competitive play and continue my education. I am very coachable, and have the ability to play during both attacking and defensive phases of the game. I have good fundamentals, pick up concepts quickly, and I’m able to apply those concepts to my game play. I am highly critical of myself as I always believe there is something more or better I could have done.

 I look forward to my future accomplishments in my High School and college career, and to go even further under your guidance.
