Personal Statement

My name is Ethan Sullivan, and I have been playing soccer for over a decade, with the majority of that time spent between the goal posts.

Being a goalkeeper is a unique position that requires a certain level of mental toughness, quick decision-making, and physical agility. I have dedicated countless hours of training to perfect my skills, from shot-stopping and positioning to communication and distribution. I thrive on the pressure of being the last line of defense for my team and love the challenge of facing some of the toughest opponents.

As I approach my final year of high school, I am eager to explore opportunities to continue playing soccer at the college level. I am looking for a school with a strong soccer program and a supportive community that will help me reach my full potential as a goalkeeper.

In addition to my passion for soccer, I am also a dedicated student. I understand the importance of balancing athletics with academics and have maintained a strong 4.62  GPA throughout my high school career. I believe that the discipline and work ethic I have developed through soccer have also helped me succeed in my studies.

I am excited about the prospect of playing soccer in college and contributing to a team's success as a goalkeeper. I am confident that I have the skills, determination, and work ethic to make a positive impact both on and off the field. I look forward to the opportunity to be part of a team that shares my passion for the sport and the drive to succeed.
