Arturo Golembiewski II '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Arturo Golembiewski I am 5'10 and weigh 140. I have better than average speed, have great changing direction speed to beat defenders. I have good upper body strength to hold my ground against bigger opponents. The position I play is midfield in high school. I play outside defender and outside mid-field. I have played outside defender my whole life and understand the position very well. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and have played for several clubs in San Diego at a high level. These are some of the clubs played for Chula Vista Rangers, San Diego Crusaders, Chula Vista Aztecs, Bonita Rebels, and Chula Vista Pumas. I was the captain for the San Diego Crusaders for 4 years. I have the experience and the drive to get the best out of my players and to be a good leader. The most important accomplishments that I have achieved is making the Mater Dei Catholic High School Varsity soccer team as a freshman. I did not start when I first made the team, but I put in my work at practice and off the field to assure myself a starting spot by mid-season. I am interested in all schools in the South-Western Region, but I will be willing to travel to other states with less out of pocket expense. I am open to different type's schools, but want to get a good education out of my studies. I would like to go to a high level school that will let me make an impact my freshman year. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have high need. I have not narrowed my majors down yet, but I would like to major in business administrations and attend culinary school to open a restaurant later on in life. I would like to attend a program where I can make a big impact early in my career. I would like to play at a high level, but be able to make a high impact on the team.
