Personal Statement

My ultimate goal is to be a professional soccer player. Goals I have before that is to be a D1 soccer player, win a valley title for my high school, win a state cup for club, be an NPL national champion (completed) and help my team get prompted to ESNL(completed). One of the reasons why I am a good candidate for your team is I have a high work ethic. I am always looking to improve in practices and when I'm alone putting in my little solo sessions at home. In addition I am a coach-able player. I am perfectly fine with receiving constrictive criticism from my coach's and teammates. They want what I want to be the best version of myself so when they are telling me to fix something I know it's for my own good; to become a better soccer player. Off the field I am a respectful and thoughtful person to everyone I meet. I strive to be a person of high integrity. As for academics I have been taught to hold it to a high value. When in school I don't mess around, I do my homework, go to tutoring if necessary, and always do my best in test. This has lead to me have a cumulative G.P.A of 4.46 and being ranked 6th in my class. I take AP and honer classes and am enrolled in a college readiness program called Upward Bound. All in all this is a little bit about me as a soccer player and as a person. Thank you.

  • Best season so far 7 goals and 2 assist. As well as NPL Champions!!
  • 2023 South Valley United (South Valley United 07 B Team)
  • Still have played a lot of games at center back, so don't get as much time in my actual position(striker).
  • 2023 South Valley United (South Valley United 07 A Team)
  • 2022 South Valley United (South Valley United Boys 07 B Team)
  • Was a hard season for the teams as player left and some couldn't make it to games and tournaments. I played a lot of the season as center-back and only had a couple of actual games as striker(actual position).

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • NPL Finals
  • 7/08/24 to 7/14/24
  • We won the whole tournament and I scored as well and felt I played great. I wasn't able to play 3 out of six games due to injury. Overall very happy to have been a part of this team and humble to be a national champion. South Valley United was my team.
  • Camp/Event
  • Alianza de Futbol
  • 7/06/24 to 7/07/24
  • First ever Allianza de Futbol tryout. I was actuality a little shocked I didn't make the team as I my tryout game I scored twice, made runs, won my headers, made switches when I had to, and was loud so I could be heard by my teammates. Even my teammates dad was surprised I wasn't chosen.
  • Camp/Event
  • NORCAL COLLEGE SHOWCASE
  • 5/18/24 to 5/19/24
  • This was a showcase but we also played our final league game. I we won or drew against Palo Alto out first game we were league champs meaning we would be prompted to ECNL. We tied so made it to ECNL and got a ticket to play in the NPL finals in Colorado. I scored the next day (on my birthday which was a Bonus).
  • Camp/Event
  • SoCal College Showcase
  • 3/15/24 to 3/17/24
  • Best tournament individually for me while being with South Valley. I had 4 goals and 1 assist in 3 games. My team was SoCal Showcase Champions.
  • Camp/Event
  • NORCAL COLLEGE SHOWCASE
  • 11/11/23 to 11/12/23
  • Played two games at the NORCAL COLLEGE SHOWCASE in Davis,CA. We tied both games each 3-3. I scored a goal in the second game outside the box with my left foot.
  • Camp/Event
  • 2023 Surf Champions Cup
  • 9/16/23 to 9/23/23
  • Played three games scored in the second game and got in assist in the first game.. We had to win the last game to go directly to the finals but we lost 2-1. As a team even though we lost that was the best game we played together. We moved the ball side to side and played like a team. The score board doesn't reflect everything in this last game.
  • Camp/Event
  • San Degio Surf Cup
  • 7/28/23 to 7/30/23
  • Scored a goal. Won two games and lost the last one. All we needed was to draw the last game but they scored and we couldn't come back. We had to be 1st place in the group in order to move to the semifinals. First time playing with South Valley 07 Black team.
