Michael Mahoney '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Michael Mahoney. I play a mixture of sports including SOCCER, golf, and football. I'm focused on soccer and my goal is to play at the next level. I have been playing soccer since the first grade and club since the 5th grade. I have played for the South Bay Force Soccer Club and the South Bay Gunners. While with the Force I was captain for all 4 years, became MVP, and brought tremendous success to succes along with my teammates. Along with all of the great tournaments we've won, the most important tournament was state cup in which we lost in the semi-finals. South Bay Force and I made it all the way to silver-elite when the team broke up because of a losing season. I moved on then and joined the South Bay Gunners. I brought with me my hardworking effort by pushing my teammates and myself, leadership, and the passion and love for the game. My strenghts for this game are: speed, strenght, and work-ethic. I currently play for South Bay Force u18/19 in Flight 1 of the Southern California Developmental Soccer League under coach Todd Saldana. I have learned a lot and become a better player due to the experienced coaching of Todd. I am interested in going to school in any state and any Divison large or small in size: as long as its fast and competitve soccer. I will be interested in a scholarship and will apply for EOPs or financial aid. I plan on majoring in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. When I enter college, I plan on working really hard for my spot because I want to be on the field and as long as possible. If not, I will still work hard to get that spot. Overall I am a good kid, I go to a Christian church, and I dont get in fights. I am a good listener, quick leaner, and am humble for correction. I love the game of soccer, its one of my passions and I would like to get recruited by your school so that I can make a difference. Thank You
