Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Sage Gazelle. I am currently a senior attending Redlands High School with a 3.5 or above GPA. I started playing recreation soccer at the age of 6, and quickly discovered my passion for the game. From there I made the transition into club soccer at the age of 8, and continued playing club soccer for Los Gauchos FC, Riverside FC, Spartans FC, and Pateadores FC. My primary position I play is an outside midfielder, but I can also play center midfield and forward. During the club seasons from 2011- 2015, I was captain of my Spartans and Pateadores team. I also helped lead my Pateadores Pre-Academy team to a National Championship. I was voted 2014-2015 B-13 Pateadores club player of the year, 2014 ODP selection, and have been a goal scorer and leader in assists for my team consistently. I currently play Varsity soccer for my High School team. My strengths as a player are my dribbling at speed, ball control, awareness, and striking. I am one hundred percent dedicated to this sport, and want to play soccer at the highest level, while getting a quality education in college.
