My name is Alfonso Young, I am from San Diego California, and I attend Torrey Pines High School. I play center midfield for Nomads SC. I am from a family of four and live with my mom, dad and sister. My dad is a state prosecutor and lieutenant colonel in the Marine Corps. My mom is a real estate attorney for a law firm. My younger sister also goes to Torrey Pines High School and plays for Surf ECNL.
I am hardworking both in the classroom and on the field. My mom has instilled in me patience, the value of education, kindness, and more life skills that are crucial for me to become a good and professional person. From my dad I have learned how to take instruction, to do the right thing, communicate with people, and have a sense of humor. My sister has shown me how to share, and be understanding; but we remain extremely competitive.
While I want to become a professional soccer player, education comes first in my family and I feel that with a collegiate program I can further my soccer career and continue to improve my game play as well as further my progress in the classroom. Please take a look at my transcripts, and my game film. I appreciate your consideration.
