2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
Practice does not make you perfect, but it can help you improve. This is what I tell myself every time I get onto a soccer field and try to improve my game. I know I can play well, but I want to be among the greatest. I have the desire and determination to succeed, and that is what keeps my focus on that field. I believe I distinguish myself from other recruits because I have high expectations of myself and am very hardworking and dedicated to this sport. I'm extremely passionate about it and will go to great efforts to enhance my skills and assist the team in any way I can.
