Personal Statement: To play for a club/school with a driven and challenging soccer program. Where I am able to put forth the skills that I have learned through dedicated training. To continue to learn from the best coaches and to grow in my soccer career, while achieving an education.
My name is Isaac Cortez and I am excited at the possibilities that the future holds for me in college.
My academic goal is a future in nursing. I currently volunteer after school at a local hospital, this has enabled me to see the possibilities in being involved in helping people get healthy and be a part of their care. I want to provide a friendly smile and maybe a better day to someone who is facing health issues. I want the opportunity to make a difference.
I have managed to get a 3.6 GPA while playing for 2 club teams and as well as high school soccer. I am one of the fastest players on the field and with my touch and speed of the ball it is virtually impossible to stop me once I make a run. I would like to continue on to play soccer for college and will make it my mission to help make the team successful. I look forward to hearing from you.
