Hello coach,
First off, thanks for taking the time to read this and look at my profile. My goal as a soccer player is simple; play at the highest level as fast as possible, but do so in a way where I succeed and thrive at each level / environment I am at along the way. It's important to me not to skip any steps - I'm a dedicated person who loves to train. I really can't get enough of it. It's one of my safe and happy places!!
Since the modern game has changed so much, I think it is important for me to tell you that I not only want to protect my goal, but support my field players as the 11th man on the field. Competition is only getting stiffer as I get older so I understand the need to be great with my feet! Being a goalkeeper means being responsible, keeping the field players in check, controlling the motion of the game, and doing everything possible to ensure the win.
Even off the pitch, goalkeepers need to be 100% mentally ready to ensure they are prepared for games and academics. Academically I become stronger everyday. I'm always pushing for more, for a great prize. Doing this helps me feel prepared for the game and makes it easier for my team and everyone around me.
