Hi, my name is Simon Qopi and I am a soccer player for Hotspurs Premier and Steele Canyon Junior Varsity as a freshman. I'm in 9th grade and have been playing soccer since I was 4. What makes me different from a variety of those looking to be recruited is that I offer value in athletics and academics. Listening to the coach's opinions and suggestions and applying them to my game is why I am a good candidate.
I'd like to look back at my original statement and add to it yearly as time passes instead of rewriting it. As mentioned before, I'm Simon, I now play for EC Surf but do not partake in High School Football. I recently started my 11th grade school year and have somewhat shifted away from this program, or the hopes of building a career in soccer. In the actual game of soccer, I differ in adaptations, shifting across many playstyles and coaches I've learned to adapt to their plans by changing positions over the years to fit play styles and implementing their teachings to my overall play. What many athletes lack that I think I have the edge on are academics, the 'student' part of the 'student-athlete'. My main focus is on keeping my 4.5-4.6 GPA and 11-8th class rank since I plan on taking a medical career path.
