Andrew Cordes '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello and welcome to my page! Thank you for taking a closer look at me as a player. First, I would like to address my goals and aspirations as a potential player for your university. Not only do I want a challenging academic school, I also want to be pushed athletically. I will lead our team both academically and in soccer to be the best players we can be. Communicating during the game is one of my strengths. I motivate positively, but also hold people accountable for their actions on the field. In addition to this, I am a very coach-able player and I am eager to learn what I can to continually improve my game.  I've played for several coaches with the US National Team, during the MLS Elite Goalkeeping Camp in Germany 2019, and at my club with the under 15's, 17's and 19's.  I've even practiced with the Rapids First Team several times.  Moving to a college, where some would struggle to adjust, I will be able to adapt quickly to a new environment and become a key contributor to our team so we build camaraderie, focus on winning games, and become the best team in the country.
