Gaevin Vegiard '20 Recruiting Profile

When I think about what makes me a good candidate for a college team, I immediately think of my vocal leadership. I try to make sure everyone on my team knows what is happening and a possible solution to their predicament. You may not hear it on my film, but I am often the loudest person on the field. When I get flustered, I almost always turn those feelings into motivation to fix what I'm doing wrong. I am a very effective problem solver, on and off the soccer field. I am very passionate about this sport, and the future I have in it. I want to take my soccer career far, and I am willing to make sacrifices to accomplish that. You will see on my profile I did not play the 2017 season. I was very burnt out from sports after playing year round for 8 years. After that much needed break, I came back to soccer with more drive than ever to do well. If I end up on your team, you will quickly see I am willing to put in all the work to get better. My grades show I am a hard worker and get things done on time, as they are all A's. I try very hard at everything do, and will continue to do so for as long as I live.
