I'm a great student, good team mate, coach-able pupil, and a strong healthy competitor. As far as my personal background goes, my family is from Italy. My mother is from Lecce and my father is from Reggio Calabria. I have also lived in the Netherlands for three years. I can speak four languages fluently: English, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch.
I always try to be the best in everything I do, putting in maximum effort every time I do anything. I'm good at managing my time and getting work done. Thus, if I take on the college soccer commitment, my grades won't tank. I'm also persistent, if I fail I get straight back up and work twice as hard to make sure I don't fail at the next attempt, or at least show significant improvement.
As far as playing goes, what sets me apart from my competitors, is my skill level and my ability with the ball. I can use both feet. It is nearly impossible to take the ball away from me without committing a foul. I can get by every type of defender no matter their ability, size, speed, strength. I'm also an intelligent player. I know how to pick out passes, I'm good at judging when to pass versus when to dribble. I'm a very adaptable player, it does take long for me to figure out how to break down the other team or at least pose a threat. I'm also a goal scorer. I have an accurate but also decently strong shot. Out of every two shots, I usually put away one or both regardless of distance within reason.
As far as playing experiences go, I have played in several countries other than the United States; these countries being Italy and the Netherlands. I lived in the Netherlands for three years. The first time I ever played with a club was in the Netherlands. The club was called Root-Vit, which translates to red-white. There I played mainly forward. Starting in 2011 I played for a couple of years with a summer team called, A.S.D Avatar Salento Football. This team is based off of Pittuini in the Lecce province, a town close to where I go visit my family in Italy over the summer. By this time, in the United States, I played for a local travel team. In both I played forward and winger. With the travel team I averaged about a few goals a game. (I scored every game). As of the spring of 2015, I joined a team called Everton boys 2000 NPL. NPl stands for, National Premier League, this league is the equivalent to academy for kids who want to play high school ball. In the summer of 2015, I was asked to train with Italian professional team Nardo Calcio. I didn't receive any compensation, however would have had a roster spot had I stayed. As of 2016, I started playing for another NPL that finished 4th in the stated of New York called, Southwest FC. This 2016/2017 fall I got called to play for a Semi-Pro CSL team, Newtown Pride. They participate in the National Cup and the Lamar Hunt U.S Open. I'm still eligible to play college ball since I didn't receive compensation nor did I forfeit amateur status. This summer I made 5th division team ASD Novoli calcio. I made their starting line-up scoring two goals in the only scrimmage I participated in. I got offered 750 euros per month which was one of the highest salaries on the team. I refused the offer as they could not pay for my schooling.
