As a kid, I have always dreamed a soccer player and playing for my country, India, one day. But when I was younger I never used to work hard for it. Staying consistent was an issue for me and I never took the work seriously because I knew that I had the talent but I didn't want to work hard. However, the next summer in camp my teammates who were fitter and faster than me worked hard while I was gassed within the first 5 minutes of doing sprints. I returned home feeling tired and I wanted to quit soccer. Fortunately, my mom wouldn't let me because she had paid good money for me to go. And so I returned the next day more fit than I ever was and made sure I trained hard. The reason most athletes fail is that they undermine the daily grind and don't take training seriously. And this has made me the person I am today. I know that I have the talent, work ethic, and flexibility to adapt to my new surroundings in your program. And I know that I can make a huge impact on your team!
