Nicholas Edward '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicholas Edward, I am 16 years old and am currently in my junior year at Middletown High School in Middletown, Connecticut.  I have been passionate about soccer my whole life, playing town, travel, premier and just completed my second year on varsity, third year of soccer, starting for my high school team.  In addition to my high school team I am in my sixth year with the Connecticut Football Club (CFC) currently playing on the ECNL team.  Even though my preferred position is defensive central midfield, I can play anywhere in the center midfield.  

Academics are equally as important to me, I have maintained high honors during all semesters of my high school career, and plan on continuing that until graduation, June 2023.  I would like to attend college and major in engineering and am hopeful to also play soccer at the collegiate level. 

Personally I am leader on and off the field trying to always lead by example. I work very hard, not only trying to make myself better, but also to encourage the people/teammates around me to also be better.  I am a team player, coachable and reliable.
