My name is Enzo Pereira starting varsity keeper for the Naugatuck Grey Hounds since sophomore year and starting keeper for my premier team Inter United/CT Rush U17 and i play up for the U18s as well mainly back up for them also starting keeper for Naugatuck U19 town team. My goals and aspirations are to play at the next level in college in a competitive university, i am opened to all D1, D2, D3 schools.
I am a good candidate for any team because I'm easy to work with and always work hard and like to earn a get sweat. I'm also a great athlete and an amazing player on the pitch. Im a very hard worker i play in any condition weather just to get extra practice. To me it doesn't matter if its snow, rain. and hot out I'm be on the field working the hardest to make my self better to make the team better. I have great shot stopping ability and great dives and reactions and I'm different because i show leader ship on the field and it doesn't matter if were up a lot or down a lot, i will always be giving my best effort to come out with the win. I'm not a slacker or a lazy player i listen to coaches and get along with all my coaches very well. Being a perfectionist on the field to execute every play makes me different from must players who give up or don't put as much work or time in practice as i do.
My grades are good got the honor roll first quarter and second quarter of my junior year and I'm also taking, this year my junior year i really brought up my grades a lot from being a C average student to A and high B student. I'm always studying and doing all i can to get my grades up. I am taking 4 or 5 honor classes my senior year as well to challenge myself in school.
My athletics were outstanding for soccer for my junior year i had 13 shut outs over 80 saves at least , i gave up 6 goals in the regular season that's 19 games and 2 in state tournament which were both in the quarterfinals which was our only loss and one of the goals was an own goal deflection. We finished the season NVL Champions, League champions, first in class L state rankings 27th in the nation and record of 20-1.
My sophomore year i had 117 saves and got scored on 14 goals at least with 9 shut outs and started every varsity game as well, now I'm into my premier season we just had indoor nationals, i subbed for the U18's and lost in the finals. I Start every game for my age group U17 during this upcoming spring and summer, also will start Naugatuck U19 team as well during the spring.
