My name is Aaron King and I am a sophomore at Oxford High School. I have been a Varsity starter for every game of both my freshman and sophomore seasons.
I have been playing soccer since I was five years old and joined my first club team at 8 years old. I played many sports growing up but soccer has always been my favorite and my primary sport. Throughout my years of playing soccer, I have obtained a vast amount of experience and skills that will enable me to highly compete at the top collegiate levels. I have been competing at the Premier league levels for 9 years with four different clubs which include AC Caldo, Connecticut Football Club (CFC) Samba, CFC Gunners, and Beachside Soccer Club.
The way I would describe myself as a player is that I am a technical player with great stamina, excellent passing ability which allows me to accurately switch the point of attack, as well as a good shot. I watch a lot of soccer to try to help with my field awareness and understanding of tactics.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am also involved in several other activities including Boy Scouts which I am working towards the rank of Eagle.
My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right academic college match at the highest level of competition possible where I am an active contributor.
