Kyle Fenn '23 Recruiting Profile

First and foremost, I am looking to excel in a collegiate setting inside the classroom. I am striving to attend an academically competitive college that will challenge me.  On the soccer field, I have a strong work ethic, am a passionate defender, and understand that the work needs to be done outside of practice as well as during practice.  I am a dependable teammate who is always trying to lead by example and be a friend to those around me.  I want to take those strengths as a defender and play at the next level because I can't imagine not playing soccer.  After finishing my Junior year season, I qualified for the First Team All-Conference  in the SWC Conference. I was also rewarded with captain for the 2022 season. 

Personal statement from Club Coach-

I am writing on behalf of Kyle Fenn, whom I had the pleasure of coaching this past year in our 2020-2021 ECNL RL season for FSA FC United. Kyle presented many qualities that prove he is developing into a dependable committed center back and leader. Kyle anchored our backline in two different formations, playing "center CB" in a back three, as well as playing in a back four when needed to switch formations. Kyle led our defense to conceding the least goals in our league. He was also our stand out performer during our teams Memorial Day tournament in Pennsylvania where the team went undefeated conceding zero goals in the process. Kyle has improved his technical and physical abilities in a short time and I believe he has a lot more potential to tap in over these next crucial recruitment years.
