Having a strong group of leaders on the team my freshman year paved the way for me. With thirteen seniors on the team, all of them had some sort of impact on me whether they were a captain, leader, or even a mentor. I was quick to conform to the environment around me and prepare to take on the same leadership role the following season as a sophomore. Considering we only had six returning players, I knew I had huge shoes to fill. Though, I was more ready than ever coming out of a previously tough but amazing season that taught me that soccer is a sport that teaches you not only how to compete on the field but how to build your character as well. Fast forward to me today, a captain striving to expel the same lessons I was taught upon everyone surrounding Suffield Academy soccer.
I aspire to land in a well-known division one program that has all the tools to offer not only on the field but for my future as well. I am a very dynamic player and I enjoy playing all ten field positions but forward is where I shine the brightest. I am looking for a program that exhibits a highly-intense, full ninety-minute, play style whether the focus is on possession or strictly attacking based tactics. My ability to be coached, my speed, size, and eye for goal are all things that make me an attractive candidate for programs. Considering Suffield Academy is a top 10 NEPSAC competing team, my grade progress and impressive accolade list at the prep-school level prove that I am a very adaptable person on and off the field despite the increase in academic rigor and competition.
