Eduardo Crowley '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal would be to go to a good school to further my academics but to also be able to play D1 collegiate soccer. I’ve grown up in Washington D.C and have faced many obstacles especially being a young Latino boy in the city. D.C has help me forge who I am, to the schools or environment or who i’ve surrounded myself with. From knowing kids to hearing that them or their family lost someone to violence has given me a perspective to not take what i have for granted. Being adopted into a white family and being one of the only brown or colored people in my whole family has had a big influence on me. These environments and people have influenced the kind of person I am and the kind of person i strive to be. I have goals like playing D1 soccer for a school that fits me. I want to show and give my all to this sport. A sport that i would consider saved my life. To hanging around people who were in the streets to also surrounding myself with people who can have an even greater impact on me, to help me learn and be responsible. I grew up in a family environment and i want a school and program that can give me a family kind of vibe and i also want to give a school my work ethic my ability to collaborate with my peers around me and solving problems or issue as a team. If given the opportunity to go to a school where i can continue to grow and also learn from others would be amazing. I’m the kind of kid that listens and gets to the center of any problem i’m willing to fight and compete for a spot and for my team. I’m willing to step up and be a leader for those who may not have one. This is my personal statement or at least what i could put into words describe the kind of person i am. I’m ambitious but also a very strong person with a will to get things done. I’m a very versatile player on the field i know how to play multiple positions if a coach ever needs me to be able to play more than one position on the field i’ve been able to work in whatever position i’m in.
