I play soccer because I enjoy playing, but also so I have a means of furthering my education and for challenging me physically and mentally. Soccer has helped me grow as an athlete and a person. It has helped me mature and learn how important it is to work with others while also retaining the things that make me a unique person and player. Soccer, as a sport, has influenced me heavily on how to interact with different people. No matter what coach is reading this, be assured that I can work with anyone and help bring them up on and off the field. I am also open to anyone who can do the same for me.
Academically I want to study history as a means to understand the human condition and to become a better and a more responsible citizen. The study will help me understand people and that is my biggest goal for college. I want to go to college and be a student athlete to continue to develop my character and my physical capabilities.
